Warning if you perceive this as insensitive, I don’t care.
The excuse we are in a pandemic and people can’t afford it is invalid for 2 reasons:
1. The pandemic is no an easy way out towards doing illegal actions. Yes people are struggling financial but if all of the said that they will not buy the food but just steal it, you would not be happy( and this would be for a necessity unlike the luxury of watching the show)As per the name illegal streaming is illegal, and you as a watcher are participating in illegal actions for non necessary means.
2. If you are broke split the fee. It is much easier to afford and you have the ability to in-house it with friends ( following social distancing rules of course).
Also this is just a mess because it is online content, I saw nothing about blinks demanding the album because it was the pandemic. No! You know why? Because it is illogical and yet all those blinks have the audacity to do it with online content

I mean judging by the article it sound like a really good idea. It’s just the pairing of these particular companies that “a bit” unexpected

But it kind of makes sense. No matter what YG does it seems to be a good investment, no matter the shit YG does BigHit can expect them to bounce back and they don’t know that if JYP and SM would be the same.
Also expecting something to go down, I feel like BigHit will have some really big beef with money and is taking YGs approach of having everything in house

Yg mentioned that this is unlike anything Blackpink released. So it’s not suppose to be a chart single, it is her journey that is two years in the making. If she wanted this to be top of the chart she would have chosen a different style of music and different release date, but she did not. She wants Blinks to enjoy it.

No, it's definitely about her range. She's just ruin a lot of the melodic phrasing when she tries to add her patented "styling" to it, maybe it's a crutch that she has to add that in.
She's a good dancer, though.
Since when was making something unique bad. Her stylized singing is what makes BP unreplicable. Artists strive to make music that is remotely theirs and not music that if sung by someone else sounds exactly the same.( why do you think no one covers BP songs, and if they do they sound bad or the arrangement is completely different)

It will underperform in comparison to blackpink releases. There is also the factor that she is not really popular in Korea, so it might seem like the song is flopping in Korea but probably will do really well overseas. The promotions will probably be short because it will probably underperform in Korea compared to the other pinks.
Globally it will defiantly be a hit, because it is Lisa( I except her to get a lot more fans from China)

Can’t expect anything this month( Bobby is just about to promote). Mid February would probably be the first teasers ( during the original date of The Show there was no way they were gonna release her solo, so they will probably continue with the same set list now- meaning a cover and not her solo).
Ps I think I am being too hopeful as it is Yg said Rose and Lisa first half of the year.
