She is an uyghur, they are central asian turkic people who are closely related to central asian ethnic groups like the kazakhs and kyrgyz. They speak a turkic language with arabic script and aren't really related to the han chinese at all, but their land is owned by china so they are considered chinese
Because they are central asian they have more eurocentric features which is why china likes to have them as actresses.
