In Korea, I doubt it. SNSD were everywhere. Variety shows, radio shows, etc, etc. This is what kept them in the public eye and part of the reason why they were so popular. Not to mention they had fun songs, were a visual group, had likeable personalities and that's what gave them their charm( a bit similar to BP in this sense).
Now, BP's have had some of their biggest hits(D4, HYLT, LSG) and YG does NOT push them everywhere, unlike SM with SNSD. It's pretty much a miracle how they're able to be this popular with the amount of promo they've received. I believe if YG really PUSHED them everywhere, they would come close but alas.
Not to mention it's two different eras, so it's a bit unfair to compare imo.
Internationally, it's not even close. But I believe they will both have different legacies for years to come. SNSD as Korea's National GG, and BP as the GG who helped spread Korean culture globally.
