A thread is only locked if too many personal insults/comments r made. Most of the times the threads aren't closed but the offensive comments r just deleted by the mod.
It just keeps going then. I keep typing out replies because I get really mad but then delete it before I post because I don’t want to add more fuel to the fire.

The first two would be completely unacceptable, and the third one would still be way too soon. Even announcing they were both soon has left some Blinks unsure who to save money for!
They deserve proper spotlight for themselves, not to have to share. Jennie got loads of teasers and promos including solo diaries, choreo videos and even a dance challenge. The other girls deserve the same effort. Let’s hope YG doesn’t screw it up.
I agree, I think they may leave at least a month between them. YG seem to have got themselves into this mess where the 3 solos were delayed so long and now they are trying to get all 3 out in one year. I think it would be a mistake for Blackpink not to have some sort of group comeback this year too as 2020 was such a good year 4 them.
Yeah I agree, as long as people aren’t expecting everything to be exactly the same. For example, Rosé might release videos related to her other songs since she is releasing more than one. Lisa might choose to do more dance videos. Jennie chose to make the solo diaries herself so if the others choose to promote differently then that is up to them. I just want to see that YGE have put effort into making each of the girls’ individual solos work for them.

So do people just want no overlap between their promotions or do want like a big gap?
What if:
- Lisa debuted her song the last weekend of Rosé’s promotions so Lisa’s song wasn’t eligible for voting yet and they wouldn’t be competing but they would still be promoting on music shows at the same time. This also means they would have to release Lisa’s teasers during Rosé’s promotions.
- Lisa’s teasers were released before the end of Rosé’s promotions but the song wasn’t released until after Rosé finished promotions.
- Rosé finished promoting her solo on the Sunday and Lisa’s teasers were released on the Monday
- Rosé finished promoting and Lisa’s teasers are released 1/2/3 months later
I’m not saying I’m ok with all of these because I’m not and I think I can guess what others will say but I just wanted to see what options other blinks thought would be acceptable.

I don’t think they should be too close together but I don’t want them so far apart that they have no time for group activities this year. Really they should have all been released by now but I understand that Rosé wants to get her EP how she wants it. I haven’t seen any issues over her getting an EP and the others not though. It’s the way it should be, they should all be free to release whatever music they have been working on and I really hope that after they all get their first solo they are able to do whatever they want in whatever order they want.

She doesn’t need to rap, there is no point forcing it into a song. I don’t think her music will have that kind of vibe.

No, I think the fact that her solo seems to be ready to go and has been chosen for a while means they are pretty confident this is the right song choice for her.

The trolls and akgaes are really trying this week so I’m just going to stay in our guild and hide from the negativity.
Who is excited for The Show?! I think it’s going to be 5am here so there will be lots of coffee involved! From the teaser quiz it sounds like the girls have really been involved with everything, I’m so happy they’ve had the freedom to make it their own.

Lol. One thing I love about Blackpink’s fashion brand deals is that you can tell the girls actually like wearing them. Not like their Samsung deal where they were always getting caught using iPhones :D

Honestly they are wasting her by not having her as a global ambassador. She’d do so much for their brand globally. I wonder when her contract is up.

If anything they could have saved PS to be a single for this year. I think HYLT made sense as the pre release because it’s a very on brand sound for them and it started off the hype for The Album
