Yes if alot of their performances are lip synced
No, if it is done occasionally or on special occasions. Their throats need rest too. During promotion times, you can't expect idols to be singing every single note live. For example EXO's Jongdae lipsynced one of his high notes to prepare for the next one. Completely logical.
Also for appearances where it is important for their dance to be perfect, I can understand it.
I think occasions where lipsync is bad is concerts 100%, and for some other fan oriented activities. Like maybe fanmeets?

That is one of the worst possible ideas I have ever heard. Starting to sound a little bit like the After School situation.

It kind of doesn't make sense to me. But at the same time it might actually work lol.
I become really dedicated to the few interviews/ show appearances that they do have. Or stream their MVs frequently if I miss them.
I guess it does give them an air of superiority, but also fan content is what makes groups thrive considering how the industry is.
I wonder what behind the scenes impact it might have.

I feel like we constantly forget that this isn't always a passion or something but it's also a job. They go to work. Sometimes you like your job and sometimes you don't.
I'm sure at some point most wanted to leave, many stuck w it because this is what they always wanted to do and many stuck with it because of the salary. Either way it's fine.
We shouldn't expect them to be super passionate all the time, they are employees who just have more public jobs.
Going back to the question, if my bias didn't like being an idol. I would ask them to just weigh the pros and cons of leaving, like you would advise a regular worker.
