They are definitely having a comeback this year. These fake stans with their fake concern just like to pretend that reveluvs have shifted fandoms to aespa or want them to become the next fx so desperately lol. As if red velvet isn’t the 3rd biggest gg at the moment.

Blame SBS
They're the ones that sabotaged RV when they were on a roll, nearly disabled Wendy for life (if not almost killed her), and they're the ones who headshotted what probably would've been RV's most successful comeback ever with Psycho - and even then Psycho still managed to become the #1 idol song on Gaon's annual 2020 chart.
But yeah, they destroyed RV's comeback 'Psycho' that promised to be legendary, they almost destroyed Wendy yet still disabled her for a full year, and they put RV on hiatus status. Without the accident, RV would've had their regular comebacks and activities in 2020 and even more with Psycho's success giving them wings.
The main thing SM did, was allow SBS get away with all that with just a lame, half-hearted apology from SBS' side
I will never forgive sbs for ruining 2020 for red velvet. Joy said that they were preparing a full album back in september already, but of course with irene’s scandal it was put on the backburner. But I feel like enough time has passed now so they’re probably preparing a comeback at the moment

Having a hiatus would be fine, but leaving the group would be way too harsh, especially as it was in middle school. Even with Irene, who treated people like shit as an adult, I didn’t think she should be forced to leave Red Velvet. Being exposed and hopefully then reflecting and changing is a better course of action!
I think soojin’s situation is very different than Irene’s. Soojin was (most likely) an actual bully who assaulted people continously and there are many people coming up with evidence. With Irene it was one incident with an apology right after. Therefore I think Soojin is definitely going to have a harder time from the looks of it.
