Idk if it's because I'm not a stan of these groups, but you can't compare when they're from totally different generations. And they're both great, it's just depends on your taste, if you're new to kpop chances are you'll like twice songs more because SNSD will sound very old fashioned.

In a sense she's right tho, there's no way you can know how your faves are really like, but she can't call out other fans for being stans of someone "problematic".

Because rappers tend to write lyrics so they're more inclined to also produce, but that's not always the case, Woozi from SVT is not a rapper but is a producer.

I always thought people exaggerated that in the past years, but now they really do. WIth every girl doing their own thing it really doesn't look like the group is a priority, just a ocasional boost for their individual images. Not every fan is a company stan but a lot of them are because they tend to produce similar styled groups and have the same producers. As for defending the company imo sometimes when people attack the company they also shame the group so fans end up developing this defensive reaction whenever people talk shit about SM, Hybe, YG or JYP.

About the privilege you really can't deny it, there really isn't one of them that didn't achieve success at a time in their career, plus to have fans you need promotion and that' something big3 groups never struggled with, no wonder the expressions smngg, bhngg are thrown around so much.
