Because the GP doesn't have any trust in boy groups, they have this preconception that their music is bad so they don't bother checking their music out. BTS is different, they have earned that trust and respect.

Leaving aside that BTS numbers are difficult to reach, I don't think one hit is enough. They would need several consistent hits to be considered the top group.
