except for sales, did TXT's cb flop?

    there's nothing to say about their sales, those are amazing

    but the hype seems to have already quieted down, so i decided to look at their achievements


    they didn't enter Melon top100 (not even their tt),

    they have bad spotify numbers (compared to other 4th gen groups),

    they couldn't even reach 8m views & 2m likes the first 24h on youtube,

    they couldn't crack BB Artists Top40

    and they won't get into BB albums Top2


    so, do you think their cb succeeded?

    I have the impression they won't have a great longevity in streams unless they get a viral bside on tiktok. This release seems to lack hype in comparison to the two previous comebacks.

    I don't think they flopped but it's not great either.

    The sales are only high because Bighit inflates it by having more versions

    TXT just doesn't have what it takes to be a threat to 4th bg crown, but they're doing well on their own so they're fine ig?

    unless they entered the top100 on melon daily chart, it's nothing to write home about & you know it.

    even previous songs of them succeeded in doing this.


    other 4th gen bgs might have done as bad or worse on kcharts, but they did a lot better on spotify & yt.

    it's okay to admit this txt cb isn't as succesful as expected or as previous ones.

    No, but I don't think it will do as well and have as much longevity as some people expected, unless moas come up with and push a tiktok challenge again

    it’s literally been out for like 24 hours, how can anything be judged so fast. this is exactly why K-pop mentality/marketing style stays irrelevant, true success takes months to measure, and sustained promo to achieve.

    Which group does better on spofity??? skz had better streams but they also had a full tracking period as opposed to txt. Views have always been moa's weak point, it's called the 7 million curse. Ans they not only charted their tt but also bsides on melon. And the BB charts are not even out yet,wtf you on???

    no idea about their achievements, but I'm on the verge of becoming a MOA bs of this comeback.. so personally, it's a success :)

    I found this, they did enter the Melon Daily chart. All songs plus Runaway. I don’t know how long they stayed there but honestly I don’t care about charts too much. From what I gathered the album doing better on the charts then their last album so it’s far from flopping.

    They had a cb? Outside fans there was almost no buzz about it. Flopped on the charts.

    Because like most kpop narratives, they need anything to suit their narrative. If they give the songs a week, then their "flopping" accusations may become invalid.


    Personally, any time I read "1st 4th gen group that blah blah blah", I know not to care or start laughing, it depends on the mood.
