I personally feel like Jisoo solo will flop in korea

i mean i think her voice is the least liked by koreans plus most of them usually praise her visuals and personality instead of her singing unlike chaennie and lisa for rap(jennie too) and dance. I like her voice but yeah idk if she will do well in korea. But I desperately want her solo, so it doesn't matter if its a smash or flop in k-charts. What do you think?

It won't flop unless they give her a song that doesn't fit her voice at all. She was amazing in the entire square up ep, if her solo is a song like forever young or really it will do well for sure, even a ballad might

They didn't like her voice in drama too. I think she'll be bashed alot. Maybe a Collab and some edm track can save her solo.

Seeing how YGE did the bare minimum to Rosé and Lisa tt choices and how it didn't really match the girls potential, yes, i expect Jisoo solo to flop because they'll give her a bad song too or a not so good song.

Blackpink are still the most popular gg in SK.

That means that every individual BP member will profit from this.

But give it another year with no comeback, and it'll slowly become another story, especially if 4th gen groups start to become the most popular groups in SK.

But give Jisoo a Teddy song, and she will still do great with BP's rep behind her backing her up.

It's the combi YG+Teddy that will boost the careers of both groups as solo debuts. Take either one out of the equation, either YG or Teddy, and things will start to fall apart.

no offense to jisoo, but it seems she doesn't know her own strengths if her covers are any indication. the songs she picks to cover really aren't well suited for her. Habits on The Show & even Clarity on tour didn't do many favors for her vocal tone.

Yeah, her voice is my least favorite in BP and she's not that outstanding with dancing or charisma. That's probably why she's the only one in the group pursuing acting at this point. But as a member of Blackpink, even if she did have a solo, she may not smash like the others but I doubt she would actually flop.

they never said Jisoo solo first, the 2020 plan only said TA and R were going to be released, it also said Jisoo was still deciding in her song and sound but then the drama came in the middle and she focused on that. And yg that was her focus for now. YG is going to give her a solo, you all just want to believe BP is like 2ne1, a group were the least popular is a nugu and have no relevance, when BP is 4/4 in popularity and not even the other top ggs members get close to them

She will do better than Lisa in Korea, but not as well as Jennie or Rose. I would expect a high debut then settling around Top25, I also don't see longevity.

I can't wait for her to prove haters wrong lol when she performed her solo stages she actually got good responses not everything from theqoo reflects knetz opinions

it all the depends of the song if she sings in her lower/ mid range it's gonna be fine. she actually has gotten positive comments about some of her previous solo performances it's just that those aren't translated.

Read the room guys. It will be a massive hit. Like everything else BP does.

BP and YG stans won't let her sales flop.
