I wanted to crunch the numbers here because I was curious. I suspected that Glitch Mode was probably performing about the same as past NCT Dream tt, but actually Glitch Mode is performing better! Performance overall is pretty similar to past comebacks over the last two years, but actually more stable - it is higher than Hot Sauce at the same points in time. And overall, it's pretty comparable to many other bg that are not BTS.
No, this isn't the highs of other gg, but not unusual for a 3rd gen bg. I've only taken the tt here but both Glitch Mode and Hot Sauce also had b-sides that charted in the top 100 for several weeks as well. Despite people saying how much they liked Hello Future better, it did worse on the charts, which was interesting to me!
I wasn't curious enough to look at more charts than Melon and Gaon. (I would've just stuck with Melon but knew Hot Sauce hit #1 on Gaon, so worth a look if comparing performance.) And I didn't look further than 100 (it's possible they hung in there on the charts for a much longer time..maybe that's a look up for another day)
Just for shits and giggles, I also looked at Real Love. The NCTzens were right that Glimo was originally doing much better than Real Love, but the OP is also right that Glimo slid past Real Love after about a month. Since the two groups keep coming back on the same day, I don't think it's that weird that someone might make a comparison. 🤷♀️
Glimo and Real Love are only at week 5 on Melon and week 4 on Gaon.
