why kpop stans selectively make fun of PS?

i've seen so many people make fun of lisa for supposedly doing a nose job, making fun of sakura for supposedly doing a nose job, hating on wonyoung for supposedly having ps, hating on wendy for looking different and supposedly having a ps after her accident (despite her face literally being in shambles after that fall)

but when for example jooe from momoland did ps everyone was praising her and called her beautiful, heechul and kyuhyun from suju both have done eyelids surgery, bom and minzy from 2ne1 also have done ps, jessi has done her nose, eyes and boops but no one bats an eye. even soyeon from gidle who supposedly had ps isn't getting dragged as much as the girls i mentioned above.

why are kpop fans so selective when it comes to plastic surgery and why y'all even care in the first place? it ain't such a big deal, their body, their choice. i don't understand why certain fandoms love bringing it up as a drag in fanwars when it's something completely normal in South Korea and the entertainment industry as a whole.

Because those are popular idols.They don't care making fun of less popular/not popular anymore idols.People shouldn't be shaming idols for ps in the first place.

It's just another fanwars thing. But in KPop it's that three pointing Spidermen meme. Of my own faves there are very few who have kept their debut faces, and their debut faces probably weren't the originals anyway...

It's very similar to the CA fights. Just because your faves may not have done bf, if they've grown up in Korea they've almost definitely done that clapping seal laugh at someone else doing it.

cos is bad when you use it to say a person is pretty because ps only but then praise your fave for being natural pretty ...and you know things have been done on that one too some people look better and other are made "perfect", still there is ps

i don`t shade ps, i shade people who sais that their faves don`t and are on denial

i have done fillers on my face and they actually make me look better in a natural way, i think they are great.

Ps is great as long as you don`t end up looking like Madonna or Bom, when you overdo ps, sometimes you end up looking worst. Jessie is on the way, she should stop

And the case of Naeun and Namjoo from Apink, their noses looked better before. The doctor who performed their sugery should be out so people could avoid him/her. In the case of Naeun was not so bad, thou i prefer her nose before. But Namjoo was butched, i feel bad about her.

That's obvious. Because despite the claims of K-pop fans that PS accusations are completely normal and should be something that can be discussed, the vast majority only use it as a weapon to diminish and smut talk the idols they dislike, feel threatened or jealous about or that simply aren't their bias, while they defend their own biases as cornered cats as soon as they're accused of PS.

Bottomline, most K-pop fans are hypocritical when it comes to PS: they keep claiming their own biases are 'all natural' while according to them only the idols they hate and envy are only beautiful due to PS.

That's nothing new.

But something I noticed about the examples you gave is that the idols who had ps and don't receive hate (kyuhyun, jessi, heechul, jooe, minzy...), admitted themselves, that they got ps.

They are popular and women

You never see ppl coming at a popular male idol like they do Lisa or wonyoung

Wonyoung does not look the same you can defend your bias but making dumb statements like this is what gets them dragged. She's had botox fillers and other procedures since pd48 and she's only 17.

She looks the same but with small changes. That's what that person probably means. People act like she's unrecognizable now. K-pop fans tend to exaggerate PS a lot.
