"Shut up, the military will take care of you"... 'Military Service Controversy' BTS Suga's lyrics
The song 'What do you think?' from the group BTS Suga's second mixtape 'D-2' released in 2020 is being re-examined. HYBE is urging the National Assembly to make a decision regarding BTS' special military service.
When asked about their position on special military service, BTS has always said, "All members are going to go to the military." Jin (born in 1992) said in 2020, "If the time comes, I will always answer any calls."
In particular, in June of that year, in the song 'What Do You Think?', Suga drew a line saying that he would not receive special military service treatment. The song contains lyrics such as "The military will take care of themselves when the time is right" and "Shut up all the X meals that tried to put spoons on our names while selling our names."
- Since the members said they were going, they should go.
- You have to go, keep the words you spit
- I didn't even know the lyrics were meant to be addressed to the people commenting here
- I've never heard of the song, but I know the lyrics because it's a picture that comes up every time there's an army talk.
- Doesn't "I'll take care of it when it's time" mean I'm going to the military?
- Isn't it natural for the Korean people to be sensitive to the military service? We are a country in a truce.
- If you don't go after that, what is the difference from Steve Yu?
- Please go, it's getting annoying
- BTS is living their life well and in addition to contributing to Korean society in many ways, what are you doing? It's such an unproductive life to write stuff like this in the corner of your room.
