That’s normal. Fans of Exo and Bigbang used to say charts are not important but the music are. Now bigbang is doing well, the fans are hanging at the chart sites and saying charts are great!! All that is left is ExoLs who have to declare loudly every so often that Exo songs are superior and high quality with unsurpassed vocal prowess. Normal kpop stan behaviour. Twice is joining this group now (past legendary group). Watch army and blink be the same when their faves stop dominating the charts.

If you are doing good international then you don't need to care about Melon.

If you are doing great in Melon chart, but not that well in international chart. It is still good thing.

The more negative part is where the more bashing-inclined and shadier elements of the Once standom start to shade Melon and artists charting high on it as trivial and meaningless. Where before when TWICE were doing great on it, they claimed Melon was 1 of the most important standards.

Watch them rediscover Melon's and Gaon digitals' importance again if JYP deigned to give them a song that the Korean public likes again.
