Calling it a setup jinxes it and turns it into something it shouldn’t be. It’s honestly sad how it has come to this. Even just appreciating or praising a group can be interpreted as a setup.

I saw the article, Was it a Pann article? Usually they're extremely hateful against girl groups, especially girl groups (except against the groups that the haters themselves bias, as per usual).

It's just fans being fans, hyping up their biases, nothing wrong with it, all k-pop fans do this.

They're probably the best JYP group when it comes to vocals, but they're not Mamamoo.

they're impressive overall

Lily/Haewon are both pretty good

and I've head some varying semblance of support from Sullyoon, Jinni and Kyujin so that's almost all of them, definitely a huge step up vocally from previous JYP groups.

I guess JYP learnt from the dragging that Twice and Itzy got for their vocals.

Good to see progress.
