Why are no JYP groups on BTS and BP level internationally and in Korea?

JYP had the biggest advantage in 3rd gen. No group was doing so good as TWICE.

On top of that they had 2 new boy groups that did better than YG and SM new boy groups.

But BP came and quickly they surpassed TWICE and became the number 1 kpop girl group internationally.

And also with boy groups JYP couldnt come close to BTS.

What went wrong? Did JYP groups miss the charm and appeal that BP and BTS have and that people in the West like? Were their songs too cute or Korean?

Or did they miss the individualism that Americans and other people in the West see in BTS and BP?

Or did JYP make mistakes?

No kpop act comes close to BTS.

BTS-BP can be considered anomalies among bg and gg in general, that kind of success is not easy to surpass nor replicate, sometimes it just happens. Just think about the huge amount of groups clearly inspired by those 2 in recent years and how they can't reach a fraction of their numbers despite companies efforts. It's not just jyp who fall short

The problem is JYP always undervalues their artists/groups. They take forever to get them to start touring. And even on brand representations, they don't really try to get along with them so their artists can become ambassadors/models/representatives easily.

Twice is their own standard especially Stray Kids.

Shouldn't it also be said about any other group from any agency?

My opinion, it’s the concept. Bts and Bp both have songs that appeal and concepts that appeal to a western market. Jyp groups have concepts that are harder to digest for western audiences. I think of all jyp groups stray kidz appeals the most to western audience and they are succeeding there because their concept is purposefully targeted to appeal to the western market.

People always drag sm groups for it. But many pretend jyp groups are very popular

Twice were the most popular girl group in Korea for 4 years. They've fallen in Korea since 2020 but anything can change. Just as quickly as Blackpink overtook them in 2020, they and any other group can do the same thing.

As for internationally, give Stray Kids some time, they're younger then both groups but they're already reaching huge milestones.

A bunch of armys are delusional and try their hardest to downplay BP. So many act like twice is bigger when BP has like 10 songs bigger than twice's biggest.

Spot on. When it come to Girl groups Blackpink are in a league of their own. No current group getting anywhere near them.
