does song's success makes people change their opinion on it?

when idle's tomboy was released most were hating it, calling it terrible but when it bacame huge hit on charts everyone started loving it

yeah i've seen same case happening with next level and savage. some people are just success stans.

personally i hate those 2 songs but love tomboy, and my opinions remain the same regardless of their charts' positions.

Yes. People might claim It's because they listened multiple times and It grew on them and I don't doubt it. But I bet the majority wouldn't bother to give many chances to a song that is a flop and no one talks about.

For a certain type of fans(success stans) yes.

i don't like tomboy but the song received a lot of bop votes when it's just released.
