Why ppl never count KMA ROTY for the rookie grand slam ?

basically no one cares about KMA unless they can use it as validation for their faves

It's not a popular award shows compared to the 3

Even AAA is more popular than KMA

Isn't 'rookie grandslam' something that only K-pop fans talk about and are interested in?

As for KMA, I think it's simply too much out of scope - and so, outside their attention range - for K-pop fans, since hardly any K-pop groups are nominated for it and often only the usual suspects, in contrast with the other award shows that all have a massive K-pop presence with all sorts of K-pop groups and idols attending.

It's also nothing that fans can influence or help their groups with by participating in voting etc (I could be wrong in this, haven't really been paying attention to all the details of those award shows).

KMA seems to be the more prestigious one though, more so than the other award shows.
