They don't only have HYBE name backing them up. They have Min Hee Jin, the former SM arts director or something like that, who was in charge of most of SM top groups concepts like Red Velvet, Shinee, EXO etc. And from what I can tell, Knetz have been anticipating them most because of Min Hee Jin. It's the reason they were mad because they wanted fresh faces to debut and they thought Sakura and Chawon might be in her girl group.
Min Heejin is busy with her own label and new girl group. I doubt she has the time to pay attention to other acts under Hybe. Wasn't being overworked the reason why she left SM?
