Melon Daily peak for their latest comebacks - GG's

Seeing G-Idle hit a new peak made me wonder what peak groups have had with their last comeback on Melon.

Every group other than Blackpink and OMG have comeback with the new chart system which is easier to chart on then then the 24 Hits system, which existed between Jul 20 - Aug 21. Made sense to do latest comeback because of this.

There's quite a big drop off between the top 8 who all got into the top 10 and the rest. Half of the top 8 are 4th gen groups.

Longevity obviously matters as well but peak helps tell you who has hype and anticipation from the public mostly.

OMG - Dun Dun Dance - 2nd

Ive - Eleven - 3rd

Got the Beat - Step Back - 3rd

StayC - Run2u - 5th

G-Idle - Tomboy - 7th (will rise more though)

Red Velvet - Queendom - 7th

Itzy - Loco - 34th

Twice - Scientist - 51st

Brave Girls - Thank You - 58th

Fromis9 - DM - 66th

Apink - Dilemma - 68th

Mamamoo - mumumumuch - 82nd

Kepler - Wadada - 91st

NMIXX - O.O. - 107th (slowly rising)

Viviz - Bopbop - 111th

Twice and Itzy fell so far, it's sad to see.

I was already wondering if something had changed with Melon, seeing how K-pop groups have risen faster and higher the past couple of months, where before it seemed like a slow struggle. If there's been a chart change, then it makes sense.

Still, the new chart has made it easier to chart yet groups like TWICE and ITZY weren't able to get higher than #51 and #34, even when it should be easier now for K-pop groups to chart high?

That's shocking, they really have declined a lot in Korea.

JYPE brutally out of touch in Korea yet nothing is being done about it? Same people will be in charge of Twice and Itzy's and now Nmixx's next comebacks and the results will be the same. Ow well.

Korea has given up on JYP GGS. All 3 of them can’t chart decently.

What happened to Mamamoo, they used to be so beloved but now they either have a ok rank or a flop.
