Just as bts they started off small and grew big. Self produced music, kind of underdog story due to not being recognized even if they're a yg group. They're not doing that well in korean charts but bts weren't doing well either at first. 140k sales in us, they might even surpass bts soon.. I think this is going to be the actual bts of the 4th gen in term of success

Treasure do not have an underdog story. BTS barely had one, it's largely a fandom invention. They had the fans and the sales and the contacts from day one. (TXT also failed to get an underdog story off the ground with that "we live in a broom closet really we do" fiction.) But Treasure stans are not going to be able to work that narrative. Not when YG is sinking $500k into their comebacks. Not when they have several studio spaces at YGE between them all. No wriggle room.
Treasure could release a huge song this year and it will do nothing for them, because they are a faceless group. They have no stars. And there are so many of them that it will make it hard for a star to even emerge. Enjoy your faves, but if you're a success stan biding your time you may as well jump ship.

I’ve noticed people are trying to rewrite history now that bts is huge. People are saying bts never struggled and the company was doing fine because bang pd used work in jyp and had money. I see this narrative everywhere now where people are trying to normalize it.
