I know the lyrics are related to an ex partner, but I associate the lyrics to someone with low self-esteem who dissociates themselves and talk to their other self in front of the mirror.

The saddest thing is that this person wants to kill himself/herself setting his/her whole body on fire ending in killing both versions of this person.

Taeyeon's screaming/chanting "oooh,oooh" at the very end of the song shows the pain of disappearing ...

Every time that I listened to this I imagined the MV that I designed and it hurts me so bad.
