They are breaking these "first artist" records in Japan as a foreign artist. It's starting to feel like BTS are the #1 artist in Japan right now (including their local artists I mean). Japan is their biggest and most important market by far.

Let’s also remind everyone that Japan is the 2nd biggest music market in the world, only next to the US. It’s funny to me when haters use BTS not topping some streaming chart in Korea to discredit their overall success.

Like okay… Korea’s music market is not even 1/5th of Japan’s. And Korea’s music market is not even 1/10th of the US.

Honestly I hate arguing with delusional haters in this forum since they can’t handle cold hard FACTS. While they’re up in arms bragging about their faves beating BTS in digital streams in Korea, those same faves can’t even book a stadium to perform in.

It’s funny they don’t come in these threads to show their obvious jealousy and hate for BTS’ success because these kinds of achievements is what separates BTS as actual worldwide artists and not just a Kpop group who is well known in the kpop fandom.
