Yeah, we use the word in my language for abstaining from sexual relations for purpuse (medical, psychological, legal, social, financial, philosophical, moral, or religious reasons) so it made me confused if that what the op means or just like: when was the last time you had sex?

i think the op deliberately didnt use the word sex...but i think its ok we're not talking about it not in a sleazy way, sex is a normal thing between consenting adults.

but yes i think the op meant when's the last time you had sex.

i agree with you have normally celibacy is associated with reasons mentioned in your post but some people are celibate just because they haven't found the right person yet or as some people said corona...
