Seriously they are not 1 or 2 comebacks away from surpassing them, it's giving delusional. This goes for all of k-pop sans BTS who are obviously in a tier of their own. Only people who were around in 2017 know rookie BP are a global phenomenon that has not been matched since then.
When another girl group comes around to replace Blackpink we will ALL KNOW IT because they will be an Spice Girls type of global success. They are likely not even gonna be k-pop if it does happen.
