You can't forget the hand that feeds you. They are KPOP no matter how much fans screams 'BTS IS THEIR OWN GENRE'. Just have them do military services, then afterwards it'll be like every other boys group. Forgotten and new gens come up.

you really think bts will be forgotten? BTS could disband today and they will not be forgotten my friend. Every new record broken for boy groups would be a bts record (their names will come up every time in the news to remind you) and there would still be records unbroken by newer groups that bts will hold for generations. They are already etched in history.

you need to cope dude. bts has not been promoting in korea for two years yet koreans care more about them than those acts promoting non stop

The Kpop we know is just idol music. It’s not some form of identity. People choosing to call BTS as just a pop group is not gonna take the Korean away from them.

BTS don't mind and don't care about being called kpop idols so why should you? Don't you think you're projecting your own beliefs and hate towards kpop onto them? How different are you from solo stans who hear from their own faves about how they are satisfied not going solo but choose to push the solo agenda onto them?

There’s nothing they can do. They’ll always be seen as a Kpop group by the gp. And that’s what they always have been, what they are and what they will always be, a kpop group.

They'll be always seen as former idols but as of now they'll never go back to doing things like rookies do both because popularity and seniority.

And they won't, the idol industry is where the money lies.
