that is horrific. i do suffer it occasionally in one eye, though it's mostly sensitivity to light and pounding.
please please go to a doctor and get checked out. it's very important. and not just your pediatrician. if this has been a frequent or long term issue or sudden issue that won't stop, PLEASE GO SEE A NEUROLOGIST!
it'll rule a lot of things out and if they catch a problem, they'll catch it early enough and you'll probably end up ok (rather than having a random aneurysm one day and dying). even if the migraine is cured by Alleve, if you take that daily, it will destroy your gastrointestinal system (and liver if it's Tylenol).
i used to have injectables but i was too stupid to use them correctly. so now i get Botox shots (for migraines) every three months at my neurologists and carry around Rizatriptan (prescribed) tablets which work really quickly by basically melting in your mouth on your tongue.
ignore this if you've already done all this, but if you haven't please get checked out because it's better to be safe than sorry
