Also, I am the same!! I usually start off by looking at inspiration and then try to recreate it in my own way (with original credit to drawer ofc!). But that then usually fails, and then I just doodle whatever
But even if you just model draw, that is still really special!!
You are definitely gifted in drawing. Period.

I feel the same way about coloring elaborate pictures...
I have an adult coloring book at home and like it takes soo much time and my hand starts to hurt when doing it but it's all worth it in the end. And it's a great de-stresser.
