    I think the question is: does he actually think the nasty stuff he said or did he merely try to be the stereotypical tough rapper and ended up totally embarrassing himself in the process?


    He wouldn't be the first to and he won't be the last to say some really nasty things without actually meaning any of it.


    Was it idiotic? Yes. Was it wrong? Absolutely. Disgusting? Hell yes.


    And if he's a repeat offender then sure, go ahead and drag him, he deserves it. But if not, let it blow over. He apologised and if he's a decent person he'll have learned his lesson.

    he's 19 so chalk it up as him being a stupid young adult, sure, that is fine. people can be creative and write what they want on the lyrics, however, they should also be able to receive criticism when it comes to them due to that luxury of freedom of expression.

    honestly think he deserves it (not the death threats, just criticism and women being justifiably upset). he sat down and wrote/revised that rap KNOWING what he was writing/revising was wrong. he's not a preteen, he's old enough to realize what the fuck he's doing. I know many people that are younger than him who knows better than to do shit like that. misogyny and blatant racism isn't something a 19 year old born in the 2000s+ is clueless about so his actions should not be excused

    I feel like his apology was solid. As long as he never does this again he's fine.

    I think he definitely deserves criticism for his rap. It shouldn't go too far but he deserves to know such things are not appreciated. That kind of rap always gets criticism no matter who it's from. The difference is other rappers main audience aren't the ones who care whether the lyrics are offensive or not. Criticism comes from others outside the audience so it doesn't matter if people are offended or not since it doesn't affect the bag. Kpop's audience is made of of mostly females who don't take kindly to being called bitches or hoes in every sentence.

    His actual rap and lyrics are problematic but other idols have been involved in much worse stuff so it might a bit unfair at first.


    However the fact that he wrote such words in his own implies those are type of views he personally has. And that's really worrying, it says more about his personality. Maybe he really has these dark aggressive thoughts about women, he did say he wrote them in "anger" so these are primal thoughts that would normally be kept deep down but bubbled to the top.

    Yeah, let's not. What's done is done, and this mentality doesn't disappear overnight, even with apologies.
