What do you think would be koreans reaction if BTS publicly dated a foreign woman?

    Do you think they would react badly or good? indifferent? would fans react differently from gp/non-fans?

    I think they could get away with dating a white girl, or a foreign member of Twice. That's about it.

    The reactions to BTS dating would vary based on her looks, profession, wealth & image....even if she's Korean


    aka if she's wealthy, pretty by their standards, and has a clean image I think Koreans mostly wouldn't care or even would support it. Like if Namjoon were dating Emma Watson, I think Koreans would congratulate him and move on.


    If she were not pretty/wealthy/respectable, they'd give her the dragging of a lifetime

    this is actually a good question. i do agree that if she was white they would be more accepting but they would all hope it's just a phase and they'll end up marrying a korean woman. it's the same in my country, race isn't the issue, it's the foreigner part. celebrities are often bullied on social media, essentially, they betrayed our nation. i hope they don't read comments, they are vile.

    i'm an army and even i think you are putting to much media importance on bts.

    Kmedia has been shady towards bts from the very beginning (hiding their achievements while blowing up small ones from others, making a big deal out of little bts incidents,..).

    Sure things have slighlty improved the last few years, since bts' achievements became just too big to ignore, but don't think kmedia/dispatch won't jump on the possibility to expose a bts "scandal". Do you have ANY idea how much attention they would get?? no amount of money would be worth not reporting it..


    hybe does have a certain deal with dispatch, but as we can see from previous dragged out bts "scandals", the deal seems very limited. Maybe it's just limited to dating or maybe all the dating ones are dating non celebrities, which dispatch can't expose?

    Knetz would be outraged, certainly when its someone with a darker complexion or from SEA. Also most of bts seems to be traditional korean, so they would probably pick a korean partner to date seriously.


    only 'positive' thing about this is that lizkook will never be accepted.
