The battery awards were most definitely an attendance award. In 2019 red velvet umpah umpah won soty over literally every other song released that year. I've never seen a song with so little justification winning soty. Red velvet was one of the top groups that attended.

2019 is also the year bts didn't go and they won literally nothing in that show. Only the groups who attended won grand prizes.
