is noise music love mostly by just fans of the act or group?

  • I do not see much casual listeners loving noise music with the exception of skz's songs.

  • Well, one day the fans of these groups people label as noise were non-fans/casual listeners until they get into the artists. They just managed to keep these supporters loyal enough.

  • We were all casual listeners once.

  • if it is only loved by their existing fans their fandom wouldn't be growing right?

  • I'm a casual listener of many kpop group and i hate noise music.

  • You say this like every song that isn't """noise""" is universally loved...

"Noise music" is an undefined, nonsensical term anyway. Kpop stans throw it around arbitrarily and inconsequentially, without regard to actual genres.

BTW I think why you see Stray Kids sticking out is because nowadays there are many small, relatively recent boy groups (of course not all of them) who release music that have EDM drops and rap, which is enough for the aforementioned kpop stans to qualify as "noise". Which is of course bullshit. Such obscenely broad generalisations obscure the fact that SKZ's music is unique and does stand out. Their songs are written well, bring something new to the table, have a bold personality, and are distinctly Stray Kids, something many of those other groups lack.

  • Noise music is an arbitrary nonsensical term coined by narrow-minded people that can't handle anything that strays away from generic bubblegum pop, or from nasty antis that would say about anything to insult the groups they hate or find threatening. Noise is an actual musical genre and it has nothing to do with kpop at all. Some of you basically hear EDM, a heavy bass and hiphop influences and start crying, it's hilarious.
