I wouldn't say ruined because I can go back and listen to all of them just fine, but I do prefer live versions.

it really adds a certain flavour to the song

The autotune is why I don't stream Permission to Dance often. It works in Dynamite because it's way more of a retro song, 70s disco is synonymous with autotune for me.
