Kinda, I know he's on hiatus but SM's treatment of him since the scandal has been prety "You are not on the group anymore" material, I honestly don't care if he rejoins the group or not as long as he behaves, all I wanted was for Jalapeño to drop, it sounded amazing 
They already announced he was going on hiatus. It's not a surprise.

Just because SME has a history of not kicking members out doesn't mean they can't and won't kick him out.
I honestly have no idea what the future holds for Lucas, given NCT's concept he could debut under another sub-unit, but it seems very unlikely.
I think they are still thinking about making a decision and apparently they haven't been able to debunk all the allegations. We would have news about it by now, right? Or they are still waiting for things to die down.
