At least the YG people didn't said it to her face like "you're eliminated" when she's training in the company.

I didn't see much problem here, the way YG said it seems pretty direct, of course, some people wouldn't like/agree with it, but at least they made it clear that they already have girls who fit the image in their minds. It's not easy to accept that statement, but if you are a Big 3 trainee like YG more or less you have to expect it because of the competition and standard of the company.

I also remember during YG Treasure Box, a trainee got eliminated before the survival show (i think his name is Midam) and the way they did it is to put him in some small room privately with YG staff telling him politely that he's eliminated, it's heartbreaking but at least they didn't tell him in a room with other trainees.

I thought this was what they did to the trainee.

It’s a harsh reality these kids have to go through. I don’t know if there’s a better way to let these kids down easy.

I get beef with the company but this ain’t it. YG is currently the punching bag of kpopies, #2 is SM.

Exactly, I think this is better than letting them train 5-8 years just to tell them they won’t debut and wasting their time.

Also saying that she isn’t what they are looking for is not even discrediting her talent and skills nor that she doesn’t have what it needs to become an Idol, just that it’s not for them.
