When we think about Global Elites, we think about the heads of states, great business moguls, etc.
However, figures in popular culture are also global elites, especially in this age.
I think no one will object that BTS is now a global elite, who is now a mover and shaker of world popular culture.
BlackPink can be arguably called as global elites since they are watched around the world.
Some other acts might qualify, but I will leave that up to you.
In addition, there can't be any KPop acts without companies. so I think that
the 5 major owners of KPop companies,
the owner of Hybe,
the owner of SM,
the owner of JYP,
the owner of YG
and the effective owner of Edam are also global elites since their decisions influence KPop more than the singers do.
