Japan to lift all Covid restrictions (return of full attendance concerts soon?)

Japan has announced that today (Thursday in Japan) all emergency related restrictions will be lifted for the Covid 19 pandemic.

Japan expected to let COVID-19 state of emergency expire this week

If the order is lifted entirely, it will be the first time since early April that no prefecture is under a state of emergency or quasi-emergency measures.

Peak was in August around the time of the Olympics. I see a chart that has a peak of 16K cases on August 24. Current cases as of 2 days ago was 1.7K.

Looks like Korea though is still rising as we speak. Numbers are now higher in Korea than in Japan even though Korea has a much lower population. Deaths are lower though but still rising while Japan is falling.
