I‘m mostly only familiar with the GOAT list/All-time list. The formula for the yearly/weekly charts are too much work, like on how to access numbers from Apple Music, Amazon music, Pandora, other streaming services, sales from amazon website, radio airplay and all that. (Even Tik tok numbers I heard). It’s all confusing to me now, BB keeps changing the rules. But I can’t blame them, there’s 1000 ways to consume music nowadays.
This formula came from one of the chart-savvy users (The one billboard felt threatened by💀)
Example
Billboard Hot 100: 03/28/2020
"The Box"
Sales = 8.0k (via Billboard)
Streams = 41.4m (via Billboard)
Radio airplay = 65.0m (via Billboard)
On-demand streams = 27.8m (via Song Revenue Chart)
Official YouTube streams = 6.5m (0.6x Official)
UGC YouTube streams = 3.6m (0.35x Remaining)
Programmed streams = 3.5m (via Pandora Radio Spins)
8,000/5 + 27,800,000/1,300 + 6,500,000/1,875 + 3,600,000/2,500 + 3,500,000/2,500 + 65,000,000/6,000
40,100 points
You were wondering if Lisa could rely off of her free streams (to chart high). No, but she’ll still be able to enter the chart.
Edit: she’s debuting a little outside of top 60 apparently. Congrats!
