The graduation performance will be held on the following date:

We will keep you informed about other detailed schedules and information.
You may have been surprised by the sudden announcement but we are truly grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. After the graduation performance we will be working as a three piece group with Mai Komachi, Natsu Natsume, and Erica Fujii,

I Akane Nishiwaki will graduate from Sandal Telephone on December 29, 2021.
Since I moved to Tokyo and in parallel with my entertainment activities I have returned to university in order to realize my old dream.
In a rapidly changing situation i had more time to think about the future of the group and myself and as a result i came to this conclusion.
From 2022 I will concentrate on studying for the qualification as a Meteorologist which was my original dream.
I love sandal telephone. For the rest of the time I would like to thank the group and everyone so that I will not regret it, after that I would like to keep an eye on the ever-growing Sandal Telephone as a Dalfan (group's fandom), It was a sudden announcement but we look forward to your continued support of Sandal Telephone.

This time Akane Nishiwaki is graduating, it's been about 3 years since i made my debut and I have so many memories, when I first met Akane i was thrilled to be able to work with such a pretty girl.
So far I have been greatly helped by the charms of Akane and her smile, so from now on I would like to send a feeling of support from us back to Akane.
I'm full of sad feelings but when I think about the feelings of everyone who supports me I want to cherish the remaining time until her graduation and I want to thank all the members.

I think many people are surprised by the sudden announcement that Akane is graduating, when I first heard it I was very confused and anxious but gradually when I heard that Akane was heading for her dream i felt like i should support her.
I would like to send out Akane with the feeling of cheerful support.
For the remaining 3 months I would like to cherish the last time that these four people can work together and make many memories with Akane.

Nishiwaki Akane's graduation was announced, I met Akane at the time of the audition, and Akane was always there by my side, when I heard that she was graduating i had the feeling that I couldn't accept it, however, even in my busy schedule of activities Seeing her working hard towards her dream now i want to support that dream as a companion.
As an idol, Akane is truly talented and charming. Each will be on a different path but we want to do our best for each other.
From now on, it will change from 4 to 3 sandals telephones. even if the number of people changes,I want to spend my time carefully until the day when Akane graduates.

that's sad, Sandal Telephone are one of my favorite new gen J-groups and despite all the problems i still think they gave us a really good year
apparently it was because of the free time created by the pandemic that she reconsidered taking back her dream of becoming a Meteorologist,
i wonder how many other artists have seen their lives changed for the same reason, i don't think they were expecting such a sudden stop to their activities, it really shows how vulnerable the people in the industry actually are...
Sandal Telephone are pretty good, definitely worth checking!
