it probably was, there's too many of these competitive shows now, its boring. Companies just want to make as much money as they can, and it's never really fair with these shows.

exactly. It's a cash grab of course, mostly to make noise in America. Prime example would be with nct hollywood which is going to bomb in America. Girls planet 999 also had low ratings and Mnet's already editing the crap out of contestants they want to do well, the korean public is not interested in these shows anymore. Companies need to just train and debut a group normally. A show is too much pressure and unfair.

let's hope. I'm not as interested in newer boy groups to be honest, it seems this year is the prime for 4th gen girl groups, like aespa, stayc, weeekly, itzy etc.
