They are letting Koreans catch the corona because they want to delay the delivery of the many vaccines that are available, especially for a 2nd world country like Korea which can afford it. They are doing this delay because they want to use THEIR OWN vaccine on hundreds of millions of Koreans. It’s part xenophobia, part profit because then they can sell their vaccines to third world countries (most likely ones near expiration like China is doing) and even if those countries can’t afford it, like many in Africa, the World Bank and WHO will loan them money to buy the vaccine. And that could be many billions in profit, call it the kpop vaccine because underneath seemingly benevolent exterior there’s some greedy underhanded shit and they are playing with the lives of Koreans by not actually giving them the vaccines that are available now.
