actually, Sungyoon from winner is the song writer, musician, and producer of his group alongside Mino. He can be considered the ‘musician’ member like Rosé.
It made sense AKMU signed with YG at the time because they were promised and given full control of their music which is not what they will be getting if they signed with JYP and SM
Well, Sungyoon needs to step his game up then.
As for AKMU, they still didn't "fit in" with the typical "YG vibe" regardless of what was promised. They looked and sounded like creative nerds who were trying to ride with the cool kids (like the classic Echosmith song). They ended up growing into something that balances out YGE in a really nice way.
