im kinda sad today.
I buy something for my mother. And the price is really not cheap. I must saving for months.
I pretty excited waiting it delivery to my house. And 1 hour ago it came.
And i quit hurt my heart that my mother didnt impress at all. Not even said "thank".
and i saw her talk to my neighbor and compare it with theirs. And i swear she said "my daughter bought for me but it was so small"
I am in tears rn. Why she did that? Cant she just silent if she didnt like my gift?

honetsly sometimes family members just have trouble expressing themselves to each other...
I just had little conversation with her. I said i felt sad that she did that. Its okay if you dont like my gift, but i hope you dont talk to people that you didnt like my gift. Especially compare it with theirs.

Actually it didnt have to lie.
Im okay if she didnt like it or said directly she didnt like it. It was normal to me.
But what made me sad is my mother talked to our neighbour and compared with theirs. And i saw her expression when she talked it. Imagine your parents compare you and your sibling, and say you re not good enough to your siblings
But it is okay if you have these perspective. Everyone have their own sensitivity. Whats makes me sad maybe not applicable to you. Vice versa.

u spent quiet a lot of money on that gift but she didn't even say thank u and she complained about it instead
