Storage tips for kitchen [Organizing hacks]

  • My kitchen after I moved into my new apartment, before I fully finished it. You see I don't have that much space:

Here is my solution for my small kitchen:

    1)

    • I got myself a dish rack. It allows you to cleanly store more dirty dishes without them falling over and it also allows you to let your washed dishes air dry so you don't have to clean your kitchen towls that often since you don't use them that much and it's easier to store the dishes while you wash them and it also easier allows you to see if you forgot to clean a spot on a plate before the dirt gets stuck and you have to clean the plate again. I highly recomend you to own one if you clean a lot dishes per hand
    • I also have a small basket and a big tablet on this side to store food or my cutting boards so the stuff isn't falling or randomly standing somewhere where it might takes up random space wich is good, especially if you have an open bag that could fall if it not stands supported enough. As you can see I store in the tablet a box for my tea wich is also a good object to save space and let's your counter look very clean and I also have poweders for coffee, cocoa and other drinks as well as backing sheets, oil and vinegar in it. In the small basket are my cutting boards, a silicon mat that is perfectly to prevent spoons or barbecue tongs from making your counter dirty while you cook. You can also use the silicon mat as a coaster for your pots when you serve the food in the pots on a table. Inside the smaller basket are also my lemon juice, nutella and peanut butter
    • I hung all my cleaning brushes and my pot holders on hooks that you can easily put onto your wall without drilling a hole into it
    • I also own this small shelf for spices wich allows you to have more space inside your kitchen cupboards if you are on low space

    • The blue cups are actually ment to store your cutlery when you wash it but I figured out that they are also great to store your stuff so I got 2 of these. One where I put my dough hooks, fruit knifes, breat knife, pizza cuter, scissor, ... and in the other one I store metal strawes, glas straws ans chopsticks.
    • To get more space I bought this small black/white plastick shelf. On the bottom row I store a container full of my cookie cutters, on top are my chopsticks and straws. To have more space and to let everything look neat I hung the measuring spoons and measuring cups onto the small black/white shelf cause there was not enough space otherwise to put them
    • As you see the rest of my utensiles is keept in a metal holder

    • You see all the tuperware and jars. They are great to keep stuff like sugar, cornflakes, flour, pasta,... and the stuff is also lasting longer and the chance to get nasty bugs in it is also lower
    • The pink container you see here is actually ment to store bags of poweder for soups but I like ti store different foods, especially smaller packs in there so they don't fall over (wich is especially great when they are opend) and you can store more stuff in your shelf than without this

    • As you can see here I have a few plastic boxes as a kind of separator in my fridge. They work well cause you see what item belongs in wich cathegory so your fridge dosn't looks bessed up anymore and it even helps you to get more space into your fridge since stuff is not allover the place no more
    • In the door is a plastic container to keep eggs. It also helps to give more space since you don't have too much inside the doors so keeping your eggs in the doors allows you to have more space in the fridge's shelfs

I hope I could help a few of you to organize their kitchen better ~

  • Like the Tupperware storage system.

My hack is bulk food is kept in a Garage Pantry. Its like going shopping to bring things to the Kitchen. Xd

The Tupperware to hold Beans and Rice it would be an improvement from the plastic bags.
