What music genres did you listen to before K-pop?

jpop/rock

J-music.

Indie

Chinese

EDM

Classic rock (mainly Beatles and Talking Heads) and vocaloid.

Indie rock bands and some pop music.

Pop.

Rock, metal, reggaeton, and still listen to these and more. My favorite artists were and still are Rammstein and Gogol Bordello. What changed is that I listen to a lot more pop and indie music overall, not just kpop. And my taste for metal music got narrowed - most of the stuff of this genre sound generic, dated and annoying af to me now. Its now one of my least listened genres though I really love some selected few songs.
