The Reason For Snowdrop's Delays?

    however, dramas that were announced around the same time (or even later) than Snowdrop have already released, so clearly they are behind schedule.


    Yes, JTBC announced a halt in filming after the whole controversy broke out, but that didn't last very long, and doesn't explain why the drama is taking so long.


    Are they just being slow? orrrrr my personal speculation is that they had to secretly re-film a good portion of the drama that was problematic in order to avoid an outrage upon the drama's release.

    Korean dramas are often still in production when they start airing so I wouldn't read too much into shows that started filming after Snowdrop airing sooner.


    I'm assuming that because Jisoo is both the lead actress and has her commitments to Blackpink that they are going to fully film the drama, including reshoots, before it airs so they don't have to get stuck if she's busy with Blackpink and can't reshoot something... especially if she's out of the country so they don't have to worry about quarantine guidelines or something.

  • Reshooting scenes make sense considering controversial dramas got cancelled before

    They shouldn't have touched such controversial subject to begin with. Maybe they are replacing scenes
