• Ikr its so annoying. They shouldn't be allowed to promote ads for an app that give false advertising

In 2019 a Youtuber who made reaction-videos to ads said they banned these ads in Germany (ads promoting slotmashines, ads with these test-games who not apear in the actuall game like puting sticks out of something to protect a figure or choosing between 2 objects so you either repair or break something) and no... nothing has changed, cause they still show these ads ... and that guy said he called this orginasation that helps to prevent scam or false advertisment but still ... a few months 2-3 ads this youtuber talked about didn't advertised themself but now they are back. I am lucky that a game like "Coinmaster" is now labled as 18+ game but they still try to target people by scam-ads and since a few months I constantly get ads of "play 5 minutes and you instantly win 5 bucks" thats so stupid cause that will never happen.

This is as stupid as when youtuber say "I am sponsored by an app that helps you to save money when you online shop" I bet not a single person ever saved money at the end

  • There is a business model out there that I call Paid Ad Consumer.

    1. Grow an advertising platform

    2. make a cheap game that is alright. A clicker game is best.

2a. ( alternatively you could promote others' games and earn advertising money per user download)

    3. put ad spots in the game

    4. track how many ads the viewer watched

    5. give them in-app points that count towards a gift card or smth.

    6. Make it known to the player that watching ads would give them in-app points that they can redeem for a give card.

The idea is that a cheap game is alright for being a glorified ad banner, but if you increase the play time by incentivizing watching ads (due to kickback) The player would play longer knowing that they'll earn something towards a monetary value. This, in-turn, boosts ad sales and ad revenue because more ads are being viewed and thus paid for by those who bought the ad slots.

Mistplay is one that I dabbled with. It takes aboutta month to get like $10? Its only worth it if the game is pretty good. I got lucky and they recommended me Arknights - a decently interesting game that was not tiring to play.

---The only reason that I did this in the first place was because I was able to have funds that my mom didn't know about and thus cannot seize.

Mistplay calls it a Consumer Loyalty Rewards program. (y'know smth like ralphs rewards)

The ads promise a lot of money--but in reality you are gaining less than half a dollar a day. Its only worth it if you have to sit through the subway or commute for hours to work.
