Companies should prioritize Japanese promotions over US ones

  • ITZY should be able to crack the West, all now English speakers in the group, great songs which now have extremely good English versions.... it's all there maybe team up with a Western label, the product is perfect but you do need the proper MVs for the English versions I feel.

Saying Itzy english versions are good with a straight face????

Majority of kpop english versions are bad because the songs are composed/written for Korean and it’s very hard to just try and match the pace/flow of the song with english words (when it is meant for KR)

Mafia’s english version was a big disappointment but that’s what i expect from songs translated into english.

They are actually good if you view it from the point of view of a pop song and are not looking for some kind of amazing deep lyrical content. They've clearly employed English writers (or Koreans who are totally fluent) and I don't see any flaws in the way it's written as someone whose first language is English.

WHY YOU SHOULDN'T HATE ON IDOLS

    1. They are young people trying their best in a competitive industry.

    2. You don't know what other pressures they are under, company mistreatment, diet, lack of success, not earning, long hard hours, family problems etc.

    3. They have worked for years towards a dream to entertain us and offer it up pretty much free if you factor in streaming, Youtube MVs, reality shows.

    4. We all know what can happen in extreme cases, mental health problems and even suicide (Sulli)
