Maybe/Maybe not, on one hand you could say that it gives a lot more space for them, but on the other hand they could have done it slower to guarantee more BUDDIES becoming fan of the new group. With that abrupt disbandment i'm not sure BUDDIES will view this new girlgroup highly. Both cases happened before and they were both successful : BP got big after 2NE1 disbandment and by effectively replacing them, and Twice the same with SNSD (though they didn't disband but drastically slow down their activities). But you also have groups like Miss A which heavily thrived with the Wonder Girls sister group image.

Why care about buddys when u have armys
there are a lot of armys looking for a poster gg to stan so bighit ngg won't have a hard time finding stans. Buddys in or buddys out hardly makes a difference

Buddies r not a big fandom. The gg will debut with a bigger fandom than gfriend ever had due to hybe association. Their like or dislike of the new gg won't matter.

That's dumb. Only two girl groups are set to debut under hybe. One is going to be under belift and the other under source x bighit. Both groups would have been much bigger than gfriend anyway, one because of a survival show and the other because of hybe association and being the first ever hybe gg. Gfriend wouldn't have been a threat to neither
