even if you just do a bit of basic maths...

(ceteris paribus) BP will have perform 4x as well as IU as a soloist in order to command the same profitability as her...

it may be much more than that...

i don't think with a net worth of $15 million, anyone will be donating $2 million+ of it away (and that's just for her reported donations... a lot of her donations were done in secret and are only some were announced by the beneficiaries themselves later on)

I don't quite trust Celebrity Net Worth, but if we assume that the web site is accurate, IU wouldn't be the wealthiest female soloist. Hyori is listed as being worth $18 million.

anyhow, i gotta say its pretty amazing considering when IU debuted, loen entertainment (her agency) used to look like this... (left picture)

she did it without group appeal, big 3 privilege, fancy styling, expensive MVs, top-rated song producers/ composers etc.
